Free thriller game

Get A Snack at 4 AM is a free horror experience for Roblox created by Stixxal. This is one of Roblox's newer entries, having only been launched in 2020. However, in that time, the game has amassed a player base of over 73 million players worldwide. Get a Snack at 4 AM has also been favorited by at least 600,000 players.

Roblox is home to everything creepy from fresh takes on the classic horror game tropes to experiences based on the most infamous and widely-played indie horror games. To that end, if you enjoy such experiences, give Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 or FNAF Security Breach a try.

Get a Snack

The premise of the game is simple enough for even the newest Roblox players to understand. All you need to do is get a Snack at 4 AM, as the title so eloquently suggests. You play as a youngster who is woken up by a mysterious voice informing you that you are hungry. The time is 4 AM. You'll need to navigate around your small family home for snacks.

Dangers that lurk in the dark

Get a Snack at 4 AM seems fairly innocuous at first but the more you explore, the higher the chance gets that you run into one of the game's many endings. You'll need to interact with virtually everything you come across, as some of these endings are tied to specific objects and assets.

Something's not quite right

The environment presented in Get a Snack at 4 AM is inherently disconcerting. There are numerous aspects of the world in the game that just seem a little off. Some assets are upside down; others are strewn all over the place. It's clear that something has happened in this environment, but you never find out what.

For even more evidence that something is amiss, look no further than the carpet in your lounge with a sign that says carpet and its exact copy in the freezer at the store. One look at the vending machine that requests you feed it soda cans should also give you a clue that something’s not quite right.

Overall harmless fun

At first, the game feels a little creepy, as if you're waiting for some fearsome creature to jump scare you. However, after claiming a few of the endings and death screens, you'll start to treat the game more as a treasure hunt and actively hunt down the different ways to die.

Overall, this game is incredibly well made and loads of fun - even if you don't generally like creepy games.
